Redecorating: A toddlers bedroom.

When we move we have a blank canvas for decorating the boys bedrooms, and because they currently share a room Wesley doesn't have any things to call his own. I have been doing a little window shopping trying to decide on a theme of how to decorate Wesley's new bedroom once we are in our new house. Im not sure my choices have a complete collective theme but they are all colourful and contain cars and beach huts!

Firstly for both boys rooms I have been searching for feature wall wallpaper and I am in love with this one for Wesley's room, its from B&Q and its a cute repeated illustration of Brighton its seaside and prominent landmarks. The red, yellow and blue colours in this wallpaper will be reflected in all other aspects of decoration including a blue and white stripped beach hut style tipi play tent and this bookcase from vertbaudet which will create a nice little reading corner. I have a child's rocking chair which I am going to paint bright red to tie in with the wallpaper and contrast the blue tipi. For bedding I like this bright stripy sheet and car print duvet cover from vertbaudet which also has a matching light shade/mobile.

All other aspects of the room will be white or completely neutral like the rest of the walls and carpet his cotbed and changing unit is also white. So what do you guys think?

Thank you for reading!

Loulou.
