Now spring is starting to show its face I find my self changing up my make up routine and introducing a few products that really help your skin give off that glowing spring look.
Firstly I have been mixing my usual Clinique Moisture Surge cream that I use every morning with an old favourite that got pushed to the back of the cupboard. This nspa Illuminating beauty serum not only leaves your face super smooth but has little light reflecting particles that makes it look glowing even from underneath your makeup. I think this is a great affordable alternative the Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewer.
After moisturising why not try Benefits "That Gal" brightening primer, not as good at keeping your make up in place as Porefessional but gives your skin a really radiant look.
A nice dewy foundation thats not too matt in finnish is a must for creating the glowing spring look, I choose to use the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation which has a radiant glow and anti fatigue effect but other alternatives include L'Oreal Lumi Magique or Nars Sheer Glow.
To create natural looking highlights on the skin, Benefits High beam is great at creating a shine on the tops of the cheek bones and YSL Touche Eclat translated as a touch of light can be blended across the brown bone, nose and jaw bone to give a really natural looking highlight. Another great product i'm hoping to invest in soon is the Mary Lou Manizer from The Balm Cosmetics which is said to be a very striking powder highlighter with a lovely sheen.
Thanks for reading!
Loulou.
